  • Yes - only registered members of Creative can be put forward for castings. You do not need to renew your registration; your membership rolls over annually.

  • Our Agents post the vast majority of our castings through the Creative Casting Closed Group. This group is only accessible if you are registered with Creative and can be found by searching the group on Facebook and clicking 'Join Group'. You will then be asked to fill in a short form, so we are able to verify you are on our books, and accept you into the group. If this form isn't filled in, you will automatically be declined.

  • There is no upfront fee for joining Creative. However, an annual administration fee (£30 for adults & £20 for children) is deducted from your first work payment of each calendar year (running January to December). These costs are subject to VAT.

  • There isn't an age limit to register with Creative.

  • If your appearance has changed, it is important to log into your profile and adjust your measurements/hair colour etc. and upload fresh photographs, including at least one headshot and one full length photo. We need to be up to date with your current appearance so we can put you forward for appropriate castings.

  • You are able to update your availability through the Calendar on your profile. There is no need to contact the office with availability updates unless you are completely unavailable for 2 months or more.

  • If you have put yourself forward for a job, you are automatically put on a ‘pencil’. This means that production are in the process of making their decisions on whether they will book you. Therefore, we ask for you to keep the shoot date (s) free until you are eventually booked or released.  For some castings, we will ask if you want to be put on a reserve list in case there are any dropouts.

  • We will contact you via WhatsApp or text when you have been booked for a shoot. You will then be sent your call time, location, and costume requirement the night before the booking. Please always reply to booking and call time texts so we know you have received them.

  • If you have put yourself forward for a job, you are automatically on a pencil, and it is your responsibility to keep the date(s) free. Once you have been booked, production are relying on you to turn up to the booking. We understand that there may be unforeseen circumstances that arise but if this is the case, we ask for you to call us immediately please.

  • Our office hours are 09:00-18:00. However, we have an out-of-office work phone for EMERGENCIES where you will be able to contact one of the agents. This number is 07966 461799.

  • The length of a shoot day can vary and is dependent on the Production. The expected shoot length will be included in the Casting Call. An average shoot day is 10+1 hours (10 hours working and 1 hour for lunch). You should plan to be on set for 11 hours from the time you are called. We will always try and let you know your call and wrap time in advance.

  • Not necessarily. We will inform you of the content of the scene if Production have asked us to do so.

  • You will be notified of your costume brief the evening before the shoot. Some Productions will require you to attend a fitting before the shoot if they would like to look over your costume, or fit you with specific clothing from their Costume Department.

  • We recommend that if you are to provide your own costume, you should take at least 3 options. The Costume Department will then go through your options and choose the outfit they would like you to wear. Variety is key. It is also a good idea to take a coat to keep warm between scenes, especially if the shoot is external. There can be some waiting around, so take a book or something to keep you occupied during down times.
